About National Women’s In Network

Laura Moritz

Laura Moritz

The National Women’s In Network grew from the vision of two women in business who wanted to create a business and personal networking opportunity for women. Laura Moritz and Tara Diefenbach were professional acquaintances that both depended on networking events to promote themselves and their businesses. Together they decided there needed to be a place where women could connect and support one another in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. They set out to create a place where women could come together and support each other’s goals.

Drawing on their own business and personal contacts, they started inviting women together and held the first meeting of the Professional National Women’s Network in February 2005. That first meeting was so powerful and the energy that started in that room is still going strong.

For the first two years the network gained strength and momentum. In 2007, with interest pouring in from all over the region, including New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Laura and Tara decided to take the network to the next level. The network was incorporated and renamed National Women’s In Network.

The National Women’s In Network is a dynamic and diverse group of women united by common personal, professional and community goals. Members of the network understand the value of building solid relationships with ourselves, our colleagues, our competition, our families and our communities. Unlike most traditional networking organizations, NWIN encourages multiple women from similar trades to connect for continued growth opportunities. Confidence, competence and integrity top our list of personal values we as members hold in high regard.

Our monthly chapter meetings include :
